美國駐多倫多領事館於週二清晨驚傳遭到槍擊，警方指有2名槍手朝建築物連開數槍，所幸並未造成人員傷亡。

近期正值中東戰爭，警方形容此為「國安事件」，並全面加強境內美國與以色列外交機構的安全防護措施。

Ontario Premier Doug Ford says that "sleeper cells" are active in Canada and behind the shooting at the U.S. consulate in Toronto.
